In TCS, leaves are allocated to employees on quarterly basis.

Casual leaves Per quarter: 1. 75

Per year: 1.75 *4 = 7 days

Casual leaves cannot be carried forward. These leaves will expire at the end of financial year (March- April)

Sick leaves Per quarter: 2

Per year: 2 * 4 = 8 days

Sick leaves can be carried forward. But maximum leaves that can be carried forward are 44. If you have more than 44, those leaves get lapsed.

Example: if you have 50 sick leaves at the end of financial year, then 44 are carried forward and 6 get lapsed.

Earned leaves Per quarter: 4

Per year: 4 * 4 = 16 days

Earned leave can be carried forward. But maximum leaves that be carried forward are 48 and rest will be encashed.

Example: If you have 55 earned leaves at the end of financial year, then 48 are carried forward and 7 are encashed and added into next month's salary.

22 earned leaves = 1 month basic salary.

Flexi leaves Per year: 2 days

Flexi leaves cannot be carried forward. These leaves will expire at the end of calendar year (December). And fresh leaves will be allocated in January.
