Difference between EPFO and PPF

I'm working in an IT company and every month my PF is getting added to a PF account automatically.

I didn't select any additional options for PF.

So, now this pf is PPF or EPFO.

Is EPFO and EPF same?

yes , that is epf.. epf and epfo are same

I wasn't aware of that and created a new UAN number through esharm portal as I was asked esharm card in a government office.

Now I have 2 UAN number. Will this cause an issue?

I think, there is a way to merge 2 UAN to one...please check once on YouTube
