Trending @Wipro; Difference between bonus and variable pay

Hi, I noticed that my offer letter includes two components: bonus and variable pay. Could you please clarify if these are guaranteed 100% payouts or if they're calculated based on specific performance metrics?

Depending on type of bonus if you are billable, 100% of bonus is generally is added to your compensation.

But Variable pay depends on a lot of factors and generally is not guaranteed to be added every month. There's a complex formula they follow here in wipro but the high level gist is, it depends on company performance, your BU performance and project performance, also your band plays a role sometimes too.

In my experience, I was billable throughout my tenure and was always given 100% of bonus and some % of variable pay at times
