Can anyone tell me why there are two different designations for L9 with Specialist and Team Lead?

No difference but I think in the first year it’s Specialist and then it changes to Team Lead.

From Specialist to Associate Manager? or will it automatically changed to Team Lead and then Associate manager?

It's strange just now I checked , i was specialist when i joined 2 years now it is changed to team lead, responsibilities are same though
