Didn’t expect deep links to do this much for my app

I made this habit tracker app called Habithook.

At first, people were using it, but not really sharing much. One day, a friend wanted to send his habit challenge to someone, but there was no easy way.

He ended up taking a screenshot and said, “Just search for it bro.”

That hit me. So I added deep links. Now when someone shares a challenge, the other person opens the app and lands right on that screen.

No confusion, no searching.

After that, I started seeing more shares, more installs, and people actually sticking around. Didn’t think something so small could have this much impact.

If you’re building something — add deep links early. I wish I had done it sooner.
