Did I make a mistake by connecting with a senior on the weekend?

I joined the company just a month and a half ago. I previously connected with the senior colleague on a weekend. Now, my cousins are here, and they'll be leaving Sunday night. Also, we'll be on vacation next week.

My manager asked me to complete all tasks before my leave, so I've been trying to connect with the colleague for the past couple of days, but he's been busy. He suggested connecting on the weekend again, but since my cousins will be leaving Sunday night and I'll be on vacation next week, Monday is the earliest I can meet with him. Should I prioritize spending time with my cousins and plan to connect with him on Monday?
