Trending @Capgemini; Did I do a mistake moving back to service company

I had a decade of exp in US and did my education from a top b school there the last company I worked was fmcg as delivery manager data leading IT teams salary was good could save 40L per year as a family We wanted to come back to India and I got opportunity as a director at capgemini my total exp is hardly half of what’s normally needed at this level so I thought I got a good deal and I settled for a low ctc of 45LPA which sitting abroad I thought sounded like good money for indu

Now it looks low compared to what my product friends tell me like program managers there 60 70 LPA easily in product companies fmcgs etc things u did before in my abroad life

But I feel ok here like my talents are valued here and I can see myself playing long game But even being a VP here would earn me 80LPA where as even a director at a product company would be 1.2 Cr or I guess even above

Am I for the sake of being comfortable just fucking up big time

I feel so embarrassed to say I’m a director but ctc is 45LPA

Bro, you ain't messing up. If you feel valued and see a long-term game, that's gold. 💎 Money ain't everything. Product companies might pay more, but job satisfaction and growth matter too. Stick with what feels right for you.
