DevOps is becoming a Fullstack dev role? 🥲
I am actively looking for a DevOps role.. And while checking the JD of product based companies it has never ending tools and technologies + Full stack dev experience..
With this kind of expectations, I think only full stack dev will survive in the market.. Niche market jobs are dying and getting too difficult to crack😵💫.
I have been learning all the tools for the last one year, but it always feels like something is missing. No one can master all the tools.. Really exhausted with expectations these days..
What's your thought??
And the vice versa is also true. They now expect you to know DevOps as a Full stack developer.
I think it's because of the rapid progress that's happening in the AI world. Companies now expect you to be a "good problem solver". This is blurring the lines that separated all these different domains.

True.. Good problem solver is fine... But expecting to have knowledge of 15+ tools at 3 yrs of exp is a joke... I gave an interview of PBC.. They literally took 1 coding round + 2 technical (1 hr each) ... And told me that they can proceed with managerial round.. And suddenly they ghosted me.. Wtf!!!.. Don't know why are they even hiring 😔

I am one of those guys who have been interviewed for such a role
