Device Rooted: Access to company portal and work apps
Hey folks, I have my android device fully rooted. And i tried to access the company portal and install work apps on my work profile and it shows as "Device is rooted", is it how it works ? Should I be able to access further any way. Or should I just not login on my mobile while I have it rooted.
Since it's a rooted mobile it's vulnerable to attacks. That's why organizations doesn't allow to login to their portals, mail, teams etc on a rooted phone.
Also you won't be able to login in old devices (where recent security patch isn't made).
That's one of the reason why people buy/change smartphones every 3-4 years once.
Yes that makes sense of company security 😅. I just wanted to have an outlook, so in case of an emergency email, I don't miss them. Probably need to try to bypass if possible. Or should I get a new phone for work 😅
your company profile will not install fully on the device if rooted.
