Desperately need Project Change after 3+ years

Hi Guys,

I have been in my current project for last 3.2 years. Now I want to switch to a different project which is working on some niche Tech. They are also ready to take me asap. However my manager is not allowing. Can someone suggest how can I convince him. Since I desperately need to go there but Manager is stubborn. It's very disappointing.
