If you're connecting your MacBook, then I'd recommend either of two options
- 40-43 inch WQHD (2K)
- 32 inch 4k Make sure you have thunderbolt connectivity on the monitor. It becomes very convenient to connect the laptop with just one cable and even work with the lid off if the screen gives enough real estate.

Make sure it's ips panel screen, eyes won't get strained much with it. It should have antiglare coating, to avoid reflections from room light.
Make sure it has multiple connection options (hdmi, vga etc), so that you can connect personal and office laptop at the same time.
Optional: height adjust or screen tilt if available

Aren't IPS displays prone to edge bleeding and IPS glow

I own a Samsung 27inch 4K monitor after using it for a week the IPS glow started to appear at the bottom corners when content on the display is black/dark. Thanks to 3 year warranty because if there will be edge bleeding then I'll be getting a replacement

Dell ultrasharp

Dont go for anything above 27 inch, it would be too big for you. 27 is the perfect size!
I recommend Benq PD2705U, designer monitor (35k)

Hi Aap naya mat lo USA k offices k dump monitors milte hai Pune hai Jo 1.5 saal use hue hai bus Maine college mai liya tha abhi tak sahi chal rha MRP 43k something hai uski 9k mai 2.5k IPS monitor mil gya tha mujhe 10k Wale mai type c bhi tha
Atharv computers karke hai aap check kar Lena They are completely new The stand definitely has scratches. Monitor bilkul theek hai

27 inch is the one I got

Are you looking for gaming + work monitor or just work? If only wok, then just get any 60hz monitor with IPS screen panel. If you have no budget constraints then I would say buy 2k monitor with IPS panel, you will love how texts are rendering on the screen, they look super crisp and overall experience increases
