Depressed about where to go from here.

Finished one year at my job, SDE-1, CTC-12LPA.

Learnt pretty much all I could from here- and they didn't give us any raises this year. I need to move out, since I feel the stagnation seeping in. I've given only one interview before in college placements, so I'm fairly daunted by shifting to another place.

I feel fairly hopeless since I'm completely out of touch with your standard DSA stuff. I need to start somewhere, some sort of planner or something to get me started.

I get that my problem really isn't as big as it seems, and it's all in my head, but with each day that passes with me not doing anything, I fall deeper and deeper down. Looking for advice. Thanks.

I was in similar position 2 months back as yours..I was not expecting a good raise due to bad internal politics in team and lack of trust from Manager. Not bragging about myself but I used to handle a complete product and got to know the in and out of system being and SDE 1 I was Doing the work of SDE2s and above , but I was aware that due to bad company conditions and politics am not gonna get what I deserved so started looking for new roles outside, did a decent prep and eventually cracked 2 offers, believe in yourself man and things will start going your way there’s nothing as perfect.

Complete Striver A2Z and Neetcode 150 and you’ll be fine. Throw in some system design and CS fundamentals and you’ll start feeling way better

That should work for most interviews, I'm hoping? At an SDE-1/2 Level?

Expectations for HLD/LLD will be much higher at SDE2 level. For DSA Striver’s sheet is sufficient

Take control. Start doing DSA 1 h daily. Commit to becoming better at solving these problems in the next 3 months. You'll start feeling better.

Currently picking up @Based1776s suggestions, they're tangible goals you can work towards. Ymmv, but starting somewhere is important. All the best to you.

Yep. Will start preparing for dsa from those resources. Hopefully will switch by this year end. All the best to you too brother

You wont get sde2 in 1 year of experience. So focus on ds algo and domain related knowledge. No need for system design yet.

I mentioned this down below, I don't really care much about verticals right now, and just need some tangible actionables to give me some confidence. Thanks for the input, however.

How good is this written?

"Don't judge anyone by years of experience. Judge them by their skills."

Okay, but recruiters will judge them by gender as well. Aur aapne to dono bhi (i don't consider LGTV) mention kiye hai.

And what is this new trend of ~gaslighting?
