Depressed
Graduated this year from an IIT with a B.Tech in CSE. Did 3 internships, at a tier 1 college as a research intern, a summer intern at a startup, 6-month intern at a top pbc. The startup ditched me and hired my co-intern, although we both worked on the same project. The pbc team, where I interned, hired a senior engineer during my tenure, even though I had done good work. The manager cited some budget and headcount issues.
Feeling low, applying for jobs for one month now, barely getting any response. HRs are ghosting for no apparent reason. Finally, this week I did all 3 rounds with a startup, but they haven't reached out to me in 2 days now.
Don't stress yourself too much. You are just beginning your career and such things happen very often in corporate world so chill. You got to know before hand that how things work in corporate world. Keep searching for jobs you'll definetely get a good job as you graduated from IIT and done internships. As far as startup interview concerned, these days interview processes are taking as long as 3months to as short as within a week.
