Deloitte vs Accenture – am I overthinking 50K?
4 YOE (SAP MM)
Current: 4.57 LPA (~31.7K in hand)
Offers:
Deloitte (Consultant, Pune): 10.5 fixed + 1L JB + 0–10% variable
Accenture (Sr Analyst, Gurgaon): 11 fixed + 0–8% variable
Deloitte initially discussed 11 but came down to 10.5 saying 140% hike + band cap. Also mentioned possible hiring freeze so I agreed.
Now I’m stuck on that 50K drop even though Deloitte role seems better (implementation exposure + consulting).
Also Deloitte first year ~11.5–12 with bonus, so comp is almost same.
Questions:
Am I overthinking the 50K?
Is Deloitte clearly better long term for SAP MM?
Would you pick Deloitte over Accenture here?
Would appreciate honest takes.

I’d say go ahead with Deloitte. It even looks better on resume. Apart from that, implementation experience at Deloitte would give you good exposure in case you switch after ~2 years. You could land a package of easily 25LPA with end to end implementation experience. Accenture role looks more like a support role and wouldn’t give you that much exposure or value in the resume. 50k a year is almost 4k per month so I don’t think it’s a big deal. All the best😊

Yes bro. What about the compensation bro. Do you think they have lowballed me? Or is it good cause my last CTC was less
Variable is a total scam in Accenture. You won't get even 50% of the variable bonus. That makes a difference. Wise decision to go with Deloitte.
