Deloitte USI offer of FTH role

Hi, i have got a job offer at Deloitte USI for a FTH role (Fixed Term Hire) for 1 year. I wanted to know what normally happens after that period?. The recruiter said there would be 2 cases, Mostly the project may get extended or I may get converted to full time resources. I want to know if that is true. Can i take the Risk? Can anyone please help here. Like normally would they convert to full time employee after 1 year?
