8. Handle the pressure ,i mean extreme pressure and politics
9. Manager will test you very by providing impossible tasks .mostly to test if you can handle it .no matter you failed your passed
10. Prior to 6 month keep reminding manager that you are now looking for promotion
11. Your name should be called by other team leaders not just your manager
12. Try to submit your snapshot as much as to different and higher leaders .

No one can deny you to give promotion after that
