Delink Gruha Jyoti Scheme

Has anyone been able to successfully delink Gruha Jyoti Scheme? I am shifting from Bangalore and would like to delink my Aadhar associated with the current flat's bescom account. I have visited the bescom office but to no avail, they took a letter and that's it. Nothing in the seva sindhu website as well. It will take 2-3 months is the standard answer. I do not understand why there is no provision to delink. Is there any issue if I leave it as it is?

It doesn't cause any issues I guess because my friend moved to a different house where the previous tenant has already registered the connection, so the scheme will continue till the govt pulls the plug. Since you already gave a letter to bescom try lodging a complaint at CPGRAMS https://pgportal.gov.in/ if you really want to deregister

It's working for me. Can you try again now? I don't think there's any other options. Better to lodge a complaint here than dealing with arrogant BESCOM people. I used CPGRAMS for other problems, once you lodge a complaint, it gets forwarded to the relevant department by a higher authority and they also should provide a response within a few days.

Even I want to delink as I have moved out of my previous rented place. There is no provision but they are working towards it is what Bescom Customer Care assured me when contacted.
