Free bijli is also the reason. My neighbors have left for their hometown. It's been 4 days and the light in their room is still on. The major reason is the heatwave. 2-3 ACs being used in 1 house. So, obviously load is going to be high.

cars are running on electricity now, the delivery guy that comes at ur doorsteps also uses a scooty that runs on electricity, e-rickshaws etc. plus more and more people are getting air conditioners..so it is quiet justifiable!
