TCS has always claimed and managed the PR that it's the most employees friendly company. However the recent events prove otherwise. While the employees salary Hike is deferred the management and shareholders got the biggest dividend payout in history. This is like lala promoter led companies operate where lala owners get the benefit of profit and employees are side lined. Either TCS management thinks that TCS employees are incapable of switching jobs or they don't care about employee welfare as TCS is operating in a country that has high inflation and huge cost of living in cities. Without giving any salary Hike, TCS is literally decreasing salary of employees.

With the amount of hike they give it doesn't even beat inflation. Only way to stay financially ahead is to invest as much as you can after basic expenses.
