Is this true that default promotion given to ASEs after 2 years completion has been stopped? I've seen some comments here regarding this and I'm in doubt.

This is correct, PPL lost on nomination because they were P1.

ASE - > SE was considered clean movement without limitation of slots. Now it will also be based on number of position avb above.

It was never there, many ASE goes to PIP. We call default promotion because its either PIP or Promotion.
