You must see how deeply they're into STEM. They see all of the tech advancements as tools to proceed further in STEM - as it should be.
This was kinda deserved but seems too soon. Like they could be awarded a decade later and it would still make sense.
The surprising thing is that 2 famous people in the AI community got an award this time.
Well they do have core field knowledge and also cross functional field knowledge using which the created the alphafold2 which is revolutionary and got them this prize. Not sure if Sam altman can fix economy...😅🤣
