Dear TCS, If you want to reduce the workforce by 2 %. Pleaae reduce your notice period to 1 month instead of reducing the bench period to 35 days. You will see the change. Please dont play safe.
Mate if they reduce notice period, anyone who has little skills also will be able to jump ship. That is not the aim.
Aim is to layoff the bottom sludge who will not be able to get a job outside.
Unfortunately the bottom sludge the DP,CP,DMs are evil. They are marking actual workers decent and good ones even in fluidity list.
As usual like it happens in India, planning is ok, bit execution is poor.
If notice period becomes 1 month, then attrition would be more than 60%.
Everyone in TCS almost wants to move out and get better career. There is no hike, no promotion, and also there is no vision in the company left. HRs change the policy every now and then.
TCS lacks vision and expertise and the higher mgmt are noobs in today's world standards
