Trending @Accenture; Dear Group Leads and HRs - Why are you putting Notice Period people into PIP ?

Question is why are notice period people concerned with this they are leaving anyways enjoy that

Everyone might not be a high performer. Because it is not justified if someone is a high performer and they are put into PIP. Why should a high performer be put into a "Performance Improvement Plan" even if they are serving notice. Also that very high performer might face difficulty if they wish to return to accenture lets say after 3 4 5 or 10 years.

Accenture or any corporate isn't concerned of that person coming back or not. They are only concerned about people leaving, if you're leaving the company you're dead for them it is the truth better accept it.

The HR says put 10% people on PIP there is no leeway, now as a lead will you be saving the ass of a person who is still working with you or some rockstar who is leaving. The entire forced PIP logic is only flawed. If you have money problems then don’t give hikes like you have been doing or fire people with proper severance. Firing people is not good since market me naam kharab hoga so they have PIP where you insult someone make them uncomfortable and they will leave on their own but to bypass this and somehow keep a guy I’ll sacrifice a notice period bakra.

Very well said.

I am also in notice period and yesterday I got bad feedback from the manager.

Same happened with me

This is wrong actually those who are good in work so getting something outside they are getting PIP and those who underperform are being saved . Leadership will than ask why slow and poor delivery.
