Dealing with financial stress:
- Uninstall almost all applications. Probably half of your stress would be gone as you will not have comparison bias, relaxation
- Check your account balance and jot down your needs(food,rent,phone bills,broadband bills). If you have any housing loan, try to increase the tenure, or get some financial help from friends & family(if possible). For personal loans(best would be to get financial help from friends & family and return them in bits every month, or take some time frame for return).
- Plan your runway.
- Do a SWOT matrix in terms of your skill set. Focus only on the strengths and opportunities first and either look out for better opportunities or start a side hustle.
- I say DO NOT.. repeat DO NOT re-install any social media apps or OTT platforms or platforms which gets you splurge money.
- Lastly, do share your stress without someone who knows you very well and you trust them. Don’t share with everyone. You can share with your family.
- Always remember that you are in a much better position than someone who begs for living, or doesn’t have better skill set than you.
- The saying goes “Whenever you want to move ahead(grow) in life, compare with people who has better lifestyle than yours. This will make you pumped up. And whenever in distress, compare with people who are worser than you in lifestyle. This will make you comfortable”. Don’t do the other way
Similar thing almost goes for emotional stress as well

Cut on expenses, take life to simplest form (good old days)
