Dating made me realise, how big of a hypocrite i am!
22M here, I recently started dating for the first time, and along the process, I had a revelation of how hypocritical I am!
How could I have done the same for my friends & family but always took them for granted?
Gifting her flowers/chocolates, paying up bills (you will get context later).
How I care about her smallest things, from texting her morning messages to sending her chocolates/ice cream on her cycle and low days.
Making sure I don't say things that might hurt her or affect her exam.
But I never did that for my sister; rather, I always quarrel with her.
Never bought anything for my friends, even if I am meeting them after a year - eventually, they end up paying.
Scrutinize to the last penny to offset dues with my college mates, remembering who paid how much and what's due on me.
These are normal things.
Here comes the bummer:
I am a very lazy person, won't move a finger until my motives are aligned.
And here I am traveling an hour just to spend 10 minutes with her.
I used to make fun of all this; now, what a hypocrite I have become!
Yeah, call me a ch**tpaglu
