Data science without tech background

Is it possible to get into Data science from analytics without a tech/math/cs degree, given that most companies have statistics/tech/cs degree as a prerequisite in eligibility. I have quite some experience at creating models in my current role. If yes how to navigate through?

Not impossible but it is hard. Think about it this way. You need to show that you can handle the work.

How can you induce confidence in someone without a degree? Through Proof of Work. Build something that people love to use and uses DS as its BE.

Use said PoW to get a job.

You didnt get a degree in STEM. So you have to work harder this way.
