Data Science Interview
After completing all the interview rounds for a data science position and waiting for more than 10 days with no response to my emails, the HR representative finally took my call. Now, he says that the company is no longer hiring for the position I interviewed for.
However, since my interviews went really well and they like me, he’s trying to place me in one of the other teams. He mentioned that he’s discussing it with everyone and will give me an update very soon.
Do you think this is legitimate? If yes, how many days should I ideally wait before following up again?
Don't wait, don't have much hope. It's purely luck now. That HR has no burden to make sure your offer letter releases now. So start aggressively applying to other companies
Called him today, and he said the same thing. Will update me in some days.
