What's the end goal? To show how many ppl don't know difference between MF and sip, and then show 5 charts on how much people invest in MFs and allocations? How will this research prove any point or help anyone?
Also, only mcap segregated equity funds have large mid small.
There are a lot of types of MFs.
There's also flexi cap, sectoral, index, factoral, multi asset, gold MFs In debt MF there's money market, liquid, ultra short, short, medium, long, gilt, credit risk. Did you know debt funds aum is more than equity funds?
Please do some deeper level of research for a project with deeper insights.
