Where client used to connect 1-2 times a week has now started connecting daily. Is it some kind of strategy to pressure or what exactly it is?

Why do you think a client connect is pressure? It is actually a great thing. Connect with the clients directly, work with them, understand the requirements, and refine any communication gaps that you might have. It is important if you really want to be successful in your career. Client facing roles are the most challenging, I agree but they are the most rewarding as well.
