
D band consequences
Hi all I'm writing this as a lot of guys got D band this year just sharing my experience with it
I got 3.0 ipf D band last year i had a small clash with my delivery manager regarding the work when i disagreed with it they said some shitty reasons one of it was rto non compliance and didn't changed it
I lost my variable component released from project later went into another project but manager didn't have any idea that i got D band and all
Mid September he called me and asked me about my band i said i got D then he told that you will be put in PIP and will be given some goals which you have to complete
He is a lot supportive so he gave goals related to our project and which can be achievable
After 3 months i cleared it but when i ask about my variable component hr and manager told that they are not sure of it and we have to wait
This appraisal got 3.9 ipf with B band but still there are no compensation letters released so waiting to see whether it will be restored or not
FYI: PIP is not mandatory for all i know one guy with D band but no pip but that all depends on your manager
If you are to shift then you can say that you are not going to office so the variable was removed to that hr and show your old compensation letter
But if you are staying be prepared can't say what may happen coz PIP policy was changed in last year like Q2 earlier it was for IPF less than 2.9 later they changed ot to D band logic
