I heard TCS institute D band from this year! 2-3 people from my team also getting that In D band you neither you get increment or decrement.

RTO is also a factor in it.

What is your view on it?

Some percentage of resources every project has been asked to give a D - sahi information hai.

Also, with a D band, you get a PIP (Performance Improvement Plan)

It is default process in most of the Service based organisations. Let's say 10 in a project, 1 will get A, 3-4 B, 3-4 C, at least 1 D. Here A and D again varies depending on account level

This year the speculation is there that from CEO level it's a directive to target 5% people for D band across all units.

0 RTO persons are strong candidates for D band. Due to non seriousness of associates regarding RTO they are reintroducing D band. Once they do it this time then it will be a norm going forward which will not be good for us.

I don't know about band they assign to the people having less rto.
But i heard from my account management, like he restricts to issue actual bands to the people who are having less rto.
Instead of actual band, they asked to reduce band because of rto percent not for our hardwork
