I thought cyber security roles were the regulatory redtape roles which you are forced to keep to protect the company from legal bullshit?
Can’t relate, no layoffs in my org. We’re hiring for multiple roles, and a lot recruiters are reaching out, so it seems the market is still pretty hot.

No layoffs. My org politely asks us to switch projects and gives us 2-3 options to choose from. Internal switching so no need for lay offs.
AI based SOC exists these days (e.g. ai soc solution by Palo Alto Networks) , so yeah!!!!
internal AI tools like organisational copilot and all are not working to much to the extent which they are suppose to work and future also will be same so cyber sec jobs are safe from AI
