Cutoffs - An answer to layoffs by companies

As we know tech companies and startups are laying off people left and right irrespective of making profits 🤑💰. It's understandable if the companies are out of funds but doing this when you are enjoying profits is not acceptable.

And u guys are also not any less. Stop being a victim and fool. Stop complaining about layoffs on social media platforms as everyone will forget them with time.

It's time to do cutoffs on your behalf. Cut off subscriptions to big tech companies and startups. Join this wave of cutoffs to see the news of subscription revenue down by 10% or 20% rather than companies cutting off workforce by 10% or 20%

The change should start with you. Stop subscribing to Amazon Prime, YouTube Premium, Spotify and others. Encourage your peers to do the same and see the change yourself by the end of this quarter

Truee.. totally aligned let's cut services of indian startups such as paytm, cars24, meesho. all these are convenience services to us users and can easily be replaced

Go to shop and actually experience the feel of buying stuff.. and as i can see a lot of times now offline prices are becoming equally competitive with online ones, atleast with amazon & Fk but buying directly from company's website is much cheaper

I understand the agression against such practices and it's valid but I'm not able to understand how will this boycott behaviour make any difference? If companies lose revenue they will have to layoff even more people and it will become a deadlock ultimately.

You also know that this is a capitalist market to the extent that shares go up if companies announce layoffs. So obv us retail investors also enjoy the fruits of these layoffs

A news headline titled " A company laying off 10% of workforce" is worrisome for people

A news headline titled "A company subscription revenue down by 10%" is a big worrisome thing for companies as it can even bring their share prices down

Companies are laying off people left and right bcz they know you will not do anything that's in ur power that can impact them but when 1000s of people do something that's in their hands, something that can impact the companies revenue will make companies think twice when they intend to do layoffs in the future especially when they are enjoying profits.

You are foolish to think that layoffs are good for retail investors. It's not like companies are sharing the profits with investors

They will be reminded of cutoffs whenever they want to do layoffs
