
Customer software installation policy
Are any of you frustrated with the kind of software installation policy TCS has? I'm currently using a browser based application to browse the customer desktop. And I'm not able to perform any task with windows shortcut keys (e.g. alt+tab, win+d etc.), I have to use my mouse to navigate. It's one of the worst applications I've ever seen. If I get the app installed on my TCS laptop then my life would be very easy. I'll be able to complete tasks very quickly. But just to get one app installed which will help to increase productivity, there is a tedious process I've to follow. Now it's been 5 months I've repeatedly raised RFC tickets and are getting cancelled or rejected due to some or the other reason.
Why does TCS have such a stringent process? Already life is hell here😐

TCS has strict policies to ensure security and compliance. Yes, it can be frustrating, but it's meant to protect sensitive data. Keep pushing through the process; persistence is key.
