Currently serving my notice period without any offer in hand. It wasn’t an easy decision, but after a lot of mental stress and disappointment, I had to prioritize my peace and self-respect. Despite working overtime and holding a PA tag, there were no hikes since Oct 2023 and no promotion to Associate. Leaves were questioned, support from management was zero, and there was no time left to upskill. Every day felt like a constant loop of burnout and under appreciation. I finally chose to step away from the toxicity to focus on better opportunities and personal growth.
Good decision, rather than working under pressure as PA and getting no time for upskill is very worst. I appreciate your decision.
- Now start preparing for mock interviews and mainly work on your core skills.
- Keep updating your job profile in job portals.
- Apply for jobs in careers portals as of companies.
- Get at least 1 offer before your LWD in your current company, no matter how much the new company is giving a hike. Having an offer always helps you to get better offers in other companies.
Many companies will start hiring from May, so keep your resume updated with the latest skills. Definitely you'll get calls, have confidence in yourself.

Thanks a lot for the motivation! My last working day is on 25th April. I’ve given two interviews so far—got a rejection in one and still waiting to hear back from Infosys. Haven’t been getting many calls, but I’m staying positive and continuing to upskill.

Resign marde bhai zyada se zyada 2-3 mahine ghar beheta padega agar worst scenario bhi leke chale toh at least acha pay milega ab toh umar aur time bhi nikal rha h hath se
