Current project asking for band details from last 3 years. What could be the reason?

Never heard this before. Is it something projects ask for usually?

I guess they dont prefer associates with C and below bands ..

Just to see if you have received a lower band. Then in that case assign a lower band

They usually ask this so that if you have C band then they will again assign the same band
