Trending @Cognizant; CTS Joining Bonus Query

For the ServiceNow account, CTS offers a joining bonus of 2.5 lakhs, which is paid in five installments (in the 2nd, 4th, 6th, 8th, and 10th months). The offer letter mentions a two-year bond for the joining bonus, stating that if we leave before that period, we will need to repay the bonus. However, I have a doubt: five of my friends left the company after 17 or 18 months (less than two years), yet CTS did not ask them to repay the bonus. I am not happy here and have an opportunity outside. I have completed 18 months, so I am confused about whether they will ask me to repay the bonus or not. But one person left less than 1 year for him alone they asked him to pay ( looks like in system it is only 1 year ) for other 5 to 6 people who left in 17 to 18 months they didn't ask .
