They always try to give you based on your current ctc. If the current ctc is less than 4 to 5, ask 6 to 10 If in the range of 8 to 10, ask 15 or above

Hi,
I am also a test engineer at infy and looking for a job change. Can you please tell me which technology you are working on automation or on manual. And if automation which framework you are working on. One more question which platform you are using for job search . Thanks in advance.

Things to consider while negotiating
1.what is the industry standard for x years of experience in the job profile you are applying for. 2.Are you able to justify your ask using the skill set you have. 3.what is the current market situation like. Like in covid companies burnt cash like anything to hire ppl. 4.Ugly truth Current CTC

You can go upto 12 LPA. No companies provides hikes after you join, so jump with a huge package and increase your skill set.

You can ask for a minimum of 50% if you have a niche skillset. If you are just into a support role, barely you get a 30% hike outside.

I asked for a 100% hike but Infy gave only a 30% hike to me, i quit my previous company that's why I joined here🥲
