Credit score is bad,will it lead to any problem?

Hello everyone,does anyone have any idea how a bad credit score might affect my job offer ( SDE) at a tech firm? Has anyone ever faced problems due to bad credit score( no debt left but credit score got down due to an overdraft)

I have never heard an employer checking credit score.
