Credit card suggestions

I was checking my credit card rewards and realised that HDFC gives 4 points for every Rs150 spent.

Now I have a decent amount of credit card expenses every month but the majority of my transactions are less than 150. I spend a lot buying snacks, soft drinks and energy drinks from a shell store near my office.

Is there a way like using any buy now pay later product and then pay that from my credit card? Or Is there any credit card which can give a similar level of benefits and also account for small transactions as well?

Additional question: How is the Rupay or one credit card?

I would say withdraw some amount to Paytm wallet using Credit card and then use the wallet for payments at stores.

Takes around 2-3% transaction charges for wallet loads using credit card

HDFC tata neu infinity(rupay)- 1.5% cashback on UPI merchant spends For other transactions, SBI Cashback credit card - 5% cashback on online spends.

For 1.5% CB you have to pay via Tata Neu app...back breaking effort. App is too slow. SBI CB CC only gives CB on online transactions.

This limitation has been introduced recently.

Go to TechnoFino or CC Twitter. You'll find great info, mostly at TechnoFino community. FYI, not affiliated with them, TF Community got me into credit cards last year, have extracted close to 20k cash value from them. Also, if you prefer videos, YT has many good YTbers as well, just don't fall for any referrals scams or overly positive reviewers.

And if you can provide your monthly spending distribution, I can suggest a couple cards. Currently best in terms of rewards is Infinia after the Magnus Deval.

Not able to refer. If you are an airtel user, open airtel app and go to pay tab from bottom. You will find credit card option there.

go for a RuPay card. As far as I know, Kiwi gives cashback on spends of all amounts.

If you're okay with a slightly better card, go for HDFC's RuPay variants

my daily driver card is AmpliFi Federal, gives me rewards on every spend with no minimum spend limit so works for me. Better than nothing :)

I used to use Lazypay for a while and could pay my bill using credit cards - not sure if this still works

I've been using Amex MRCC credit card for most of my spending which are around ₹20k in most of the months. You can redeem their Membership Reward (MR) points to airlines miles, gift vouchers etc at a very good rate (~10%). Feel free to reach out on WhatsApp to know more details regarding it: 9911626956.

Amex referral (First year free for you + 2000 added bonus points on spends of ₹5000): https://americanexpress.com/en-in/referral/hARShGuqru?XL=MNANS
