Credit card bill due date

What is your credit card bill date in the month? Every time I got a new card they give a random date - 17th or 25th of the month. They should be ideally giving first week of the month as due date to enable timely payment. Sometimes I think banks do this deliberately to ensure you maintain balance in your account to pay the bill or to ensure you don’t have money to pay the bill and they earn fees / interest from you.

You can ask credit card company to change bill cycle

I do that every time. Wondering if it’s just me that get dates like these or if it’s more widespread. Every time I ask them to change the billing cycle and it takes them a few weeks to make it happen and apparently goes through an approval cycle. 🤦🏽‍♀️🤦🏽‍♀️

OK so I can give a detailed answer from this if you want one - since as a family of 3, we have 17 CC.

Enable auto-payments, at least for minimum due amount. No hassle.
