Counter offer - Cognizant vs Start up
Hi, Cognizant has offered me - 17.2 Lpa (16.3 fixed + 70 variable + 23 insurance ) I have a another offer from a start up for 20 Lpa (18 fixed + 2 variable )
If I take this 20Lpa as counter offer to Cognizant will they match it?
Or Will cognizant retract my offer for asking more?

Tell the same offer to cognizant might be they will match. For Startup you have to search ask some employee over linkedn about work culture n all things. Then you can think about startup
I will try talking to Cognizant for matching the offer, What if they retract is my fear!
Don't take risk with cognizant Vs start up. Cognizant have multiple project wrt startup. Also if you want to check where you stand in market check the app called Ambition box you will get reality check .. not exact but yes near by !
Update - They matched the offer as 18 fixed and variable 1L !

Go for CTS, don’t join startup, you will not get any time for family and other stuff, only work work work. CTS is much better than any other service base companies if you have good and latest skills.
They won't retract the offer but they might not match it. You can try
Go for cognizant with matching offer.
