Could anyone share best tips and recommendations for 16 years experience guy to move to the new job after a decade.
Hi All, trying to switch job after a decade. Part of same org more than 11 years. Came to know its not easy to switch with higher experience. Any tips or recommendations will be greatly appreciated and will make a path to land to new job.
I dont have your exp. but mine is a little close. Depends on your financial status.
if you are reasonably stable financial condition , Do not look for another job, unless you have had a great growth in your career. Meaning you are in leadership roles. If you are capable of landing a leadership role with P&L responsibilities, then look for a that kind of job. if not, stay at Infy, when they fire, (which they will eventually), leave the city and move into a small town. You can look to start small business there.
Remember, every hour in the office you spend, you are just making your manager richer and of course contributing to all ladli behana and sundar sasuma yojanas.
