Corporate strategy role advice
Hi i have been offered a corporate strategy role in a us based company in India. currently i work in Investment Banking profile at a big 4. Can anyone please help me suggesting whether it’s worth taking it or what are the prospects of strategy roles in India.

It can be a good role if corporate development is included in strategy. However make sure you don’t get saddled with operations. A lot of companies are using Strategy as a bait to lure people into becoming general management errand boys.
I am part of corporate strategy team in big 4. It depends on what you aspire for. If you are looking for an internal role and better work life balance then you should go for it. If you need more money and love working closely with customers then you should look for another role
Can you explain a bit more on the corporate development side as to what we mean by that
