Trending @Infosys; Corporate Health Insurance validity after separation

I have taken a top up plan (like titanium) over base health insurance plan, what would be its validity after separation from Infosys ? I understand, base corporate given plan would get deactivated immediately on last working day, but if you claim based upon top up plan before it's expiry, does it work ? Has anyone experienced this ?
