cooling period in bnpp

hello friends , I worked as a contractor in bnpp .now there is an open position which suits me and internal team was ok to onboard me.but HR Team stopped it as I need 1 year of cooling period to join bnpp. can anyother option help me to bypass the same.kindly pour in ur ideas.
