Controversial: Would you marry someone of less economic background?

Well, It's a movie for a reason.
For men , marrying down is the norm, and marrying up is uncommon. For women, not so much as they generally prefer marrying up / across (lookup hypergamy). There are many girls (even in my own family) who don't prioritize wealth / income alone and consider looks , education , etc.
Yet, a vast disparity in socioeconomic status is very rare and is outliers.

Why not? As long as they are not financially irresponsible then it should be fine.
