Guys, In India Tax Saving is only Under Income Tax Sections Like 80C etc.

Investing in company - How come it will come under Saving tax?

ESPP is not Tax saving plan. PERIOD.

It reflects in your salary slip, so some might be confused, but I personally invested in it, so it is your taxable income. If confuse, invest and check.

As far as my understanding It's not for tax saving even when you will sell your amount of shares then you have to pay tax on the profit. But I would say go for it as you will get 15% discounted shares from market value.

Yes. The full amount contributed towards ESPP is taxable. Also, the discounts, profits are all additionally taxed.
