Having offer from another company but it is contract based. Can we leave wipro as getting released from project .
What is your skill set? If there is possibility to convert to employee then can consider
Ask them if there is any project ramp down or project what is the state. Can we serve 90 days of notice or they will remove immediately. If they remove immediately, don't join. Because we don't have any guarantee for our project.
Generally in wipro, if the project ends, atleast 28 days prior intimation will given. If they don't inform you. They will give you the billability for next 28 days. You can fight with your manager if they don't give provided you worked minimum 6 months with that account. This period is called virtual pool
After release from the project, you will have 45 days to search new project. If you don't get the project within that time, you will be in lop. That's different story.
So, you will have 45+28 days to search for new project.
But in the contract jobs, they won't give this much time. When your project is out, you are out. Please think carefully and join
