Completely relatable… and tourist visa != work visa… at some point you need to accept your naseeb and work accordingly.. may be once you give up Universe grants you the wish

I relate with you..I had few missed opportunities ..circa vack during Y2K days..I was about to go to US ,however dot com bust spoiled thr dreams .2004 ..B1,B2 stamped for US and ready to go however ORg restructure was a dampner..2006 had an offer letter to US ,wife was due abd became a father and had to sacrifice for family support. 2009 Manila offer..thought about family life again..Raached a level where I was approving laptops for people shuttling to US:-)..Compromised and took a Personal UK trip twuce in this and last decade ..Desirr has died down and happy with what fortune gavr and awaits..I think its destiny .seen ao many close people with me going onsite settling..

10 years in IT. I have never had a chance to go to onsite or neither came very close to it. During my initial years I was very keen to get to a foreign country and work / chill. With time I realized that onsite is based on luck and some politics. I made my peace with that. You better also do the same.

I have canada ICT from last 6 months, not getting any opportunities to travel understood that there should be 6 opportunities has to come to unit as there are 5 more people ahead of me to get the same thing.

I have H1B in progress and I have resigned in order to get paid better by some other organisation.

Just matter of retaining people in the name of onsite, all bull shit, they are not interested in your aspirations it’s business for them.

Trust me switch and get 100% hike, then travel with that fnkig your money whenever you want where ever you want.

Sitting with H1b in hand and waiting to get a opportunity but only getting hopeless answers from available projects ... Only GC or local Citizen etc .. Not ready to bear cost of sending someone from India .... Frustrated more than ever
